LEADERSHIP TEAM  

Sarah Hayes holds a Veterinary Assistant credential and a degree from The Guilford Riding School in Guilford, Connecticut, with formal training in horsemanship, large barn management, and riding instruction for individuals with special needs. Sarah has won many awards for her skill and amazing riding ability. She is an empathic teacher and her students often bond closely. In addition,  Sarah has more than 25 years of experience working with veterinary practices and also large and small animal rescue organizations throughout Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.

Sarah previously served as the Maryland State Coordinator for the American Horse Defense Fund, working alongside attorney Trina Bellak, Esq., for five years on Capitol Hill advocating for the protection of American horses. She has also served for many years as a therapeutic foster parent.

Sarah is CPR, AED, and First Aid certified for children, adults, and animals. She successfully led a 501 (c)(3)nonprofit organization for 14 years- Tranquility Farm Equestrian Education and Renewal Center, Inc- which was incorporate in 2003 and concluded operations after many successful years to relocate from Virginia to Delaware.

In addition, Sarah has an extensive media background, both television, newspaper and radio in Maryland and Virginia and more recently in Delaware.  She has hosted several radio programs in Maryland and Virginia including ‘All God’s Creatures’ on WTHU(The  Source Radio Network) in Thurmont, Maryland, and on 88.1 Praise Radio in Culpeper, Virginia. She has also appeared on t.v. The Brightside 47 News with Jordie Clark and Tiara Williams, and Delmarva Live with James McDonald plus radio 98.1 The Rood Awakening Show with Bulldog in Ocean City, MD. There are numerous newspaper features which will be posted on this website.
